Ultimate Reality Dev Log #3 - New Map and New Enemy Types!

Hey everyone! This weeks Dev Log is a short one. I have been working on the new Atlantis map with a bunch of new mechanics and a bunch of new enemy types!

New Map

The Atlantis levels takes our hero to an unknown dimension where the island of Atlantis did not sink down to the ocean. It instead grew old and rusty, taken captive by some unknown civilization. This particular map showcases the technology that this civilization had. It is heavliy inspired by ancient greek architecture.

I am also experimenting with a sun shader where the glare of the sun reflects off the camera. This city has been in ruins for a while and that's why most of it's columns and buildings look rusty and old. This map also shows off new enemies that have a very elegant clothing.

Mechanics

You can now wall jump to reach higher places. Wall jumping will work by jumping to a ledge and then pressing the jump button to move away from the ledge. This particular tile set will be big and will require a lot of wall jumping to get to different places.

Enemy Type

I have been working on adding a new enemy type that is different from the rest. If any of you have played the vector mobile game that you probably have an idea of what I am talking about. You have to run away from this enemy because a single touch or bullet from him can instantly kill you! This should be very fun in making levels where you have to parkour around and think of how to get away from this enemy.
